¿Quiénes somos?

A small taste of México in Maple Ridge.

Lupitas began in 2018 as a tiny corner shop selling the tortillas, salsas and sweets we missed from home. Word spread. The line for street tacos out the back door grew longer than the line at the till.

So we did the only sensible thing. We opened a restaurant. Same family. Same recipes. Bigger kitchen, more tables, room for everyone.

The mercado still hums in its original spot — Mexican groceries only now, the kitchen moved next door. The restaurant is right around the corner. Both belong to the same family and the same hearts.

Street Tacos

Three small corn tortillas, your meat of choice, white onion, cilantro, lime. The classic, exactly the way it should be.

Stuffed Burritos

Flour tortilla, rice, frijoles, slow-braised meat, salsa fresca, queso, lettuce. Cut in two. Comes with chips and roasted tomato salsa.

03 Enchiladas under crema and queso fresco, plated with Mexican rice and refried beans

Enchiladas

Three rolled corn tortillas filled with chicken or cheese, smothered in red guajillo or tangy tomatillo-jalapeño salsa, crema, queso fresco.
